On Wednesday evening, September 18th, Jeremy Levie will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Jeremy Levie, born in San Francisco in 1970, grew up in Fresno, California, where he excelled in math and developed a lifelong love of theater. After earning a B.A.

On Wednesday evening, September 25th, Don Monjure will give an online Way Seeking Mind talk titled "Beliefs, Who Needs Them?" followed by a discussion. Don Monjure came to Kannon Do in 1993 and became one of Les’s students. Since then, Zen practice has been the background of all his endeavors.
We invite you to an informal evening with a short meditation, a reading and discussion, for those interested in learning about the Zen tradition. Spend some time with people who know the Zen forms and learn how to sit zazen in our beautiful space. Ask questions and learn about Kannon Do’s history and traditions.

On Wednesday evening, October 9th, Vanessa will give a dharma talk followed by an online discussion. Koji Vanessa Able is a remote member of the Kannon Do community, having lived and practiced there in person for six wonderful years.
On Wednesday evening, October 16th Kodo Conlin will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Kodo Conlin is a Soto Zen priest in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. Ordained in 2015, Kodo trained at all three of San Francisco Zen Center’s temples in addition to long-term, residential Vipassana practice.
Please join us for a Garden Work Day at Kannon Do on Saturday, October 19th after the 9:30-10:10 p.m. sitting. Tasks such as pruning, raking and weeding will be taken care of in the front and back areas. Please come and help us maintain the garden and landscape.
