  • One Day Sit with Renshin Bunce

    Renshin Bunce is a dharma heir of the late Myogen Steve Stücky. She was priest ordained in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi in 2003 by the late Zenkei Blanche Hartman. After seven years’ residence at San Francisco Zen Center, Renshin worked for 12 years as a hospice chaplain.

    On Wednesday evening, April 15th, Eli Brown-Stevenson will give a Way Seeking Mind talk followed by a discussion. Greeting the world with a warm bow—Rev. So On Eli Brown-Stevenson is a Soto Zen priest and the Director of Inclusion and Belonging at San Francisco Zen Center.

    On Wednesday evening, April 22nd, Umar will give an in-person dharma talk followed by a discussion.

    In-Person Dharma Talk: Ben Connelly

    On Wednesday evening, April 29th, Ben Connelly will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Ben Connelly is a Soto Zen teacher and Dharma heir in the Katagiri lineage.

  • Board Meeting

    Please join us for a Board meeting to be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd.   Everyone is welcome.  The meeting will be in a hybrid format (in-person and online).

    On Wednesday evening, May 6th, Kigen Anna Breckenridge will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Anna first attended Kannon Do as a high school student inspired by Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind. She continued her zazen practice while attending college in the Pacific Northwest.
