On Wednesday evening, December 22nd, Sosan Theresa Flynn is our guest speaker and will give a Dharma talk followed by an online discussion. Sosan is currently the president of SZBA (Soto Zen Buddhist Association) and a Guiding Teacher of Clouds in Water Zen Center (MN), where she has been practicing since 1994. She was ordained as a Soto Zen Buddhist priest by Dosho Port in 1997, practiced with several teachers including Byakuren Judith Ragir, and received dharma transmission from Joen Snyder O’Neal in 2012.

Sosan has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with professional experience in both community mental health and staff training. Sosan is interested in diversity, equity and inclusion, inter-generational practice, and ethics.
