Carrying on the centuries-old tradition of Chinese and Japanese Zen monasteries and temples, Kannon Do will hold its annual Temple Cleaning Day on Sunday  February 18th from 10AM to 12PM.  Tasks will include items not normally included in our weekly work periods for this day such as deep cleaning the zendo, organizing tools in Sangha house and weeding, raking and clean-up around premises and parking lot. Come for whatever amount of time you can offer during this period. Working together in care for our temple offers a chance to practice samu, an essential aspect of Zen practice.
