We invite you to an informal evening with a short meditation, a reading and discussion, for those interested in learning about the Zen tradition. Kyōshō Valorie Beer will lead a sewing sesshin at Kannon Do in Mountain View for students approved to sew by their teacher. The sesshin is nonresidential and will be from 10:30 - 5:00 pm on Saturday, and 08:30 - 5:00 pm on Sunday.

During his Dharma talk, Michael will share his personal history with meditation and Buddhism and his experience during his recent trip to Bhutan. Bhutan is spearheading a global movement toward mindful modernization.
