On Wednesday evening, May 8, our guest speaker will be Shōku Kathy Early. Kathy began sitting zazen daily in 1994 while working as a semiconductor engineer in Silicon Valley.

Please join us on Wednesday, May 22 at 8 p.m. after zazen for a Dharma talk by Michael McCord of the San Francisco Zen Center. Michael McCord is a Zen Buddhist priest ordained by Paul Haller. He holds a BA in Theology and has done vocational training for mentally challenged individuals.
Please join us at 10:30 AM for an Introduction to Zen on Saturday, May 25th. This orientation is intended primarily for individuals new to Zen practice, as well as experienced practitioners who have questions about their contemplative practice. This informal get-together takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month, lasting about 90 minutes.
If you plan on attending Sesshin on June 8th please join Victor Legge for Oryoki training on Saturday, June 1st at 10:20 a.m. Oryoki is the traditional way that Japanese monks eat their food in monasteries.
Please join us on Wednesday, June 5th at 8 p.m. after zazen for a Dharma talk by Eijun Linda Cutts (Senior Dharma teacher). Eijun Linda Cutts came to San Francisco Zen Center in 1971 and was ordained as a priest in 1975.
