Michael McCord is a Zen Buddhist priest ordained by Paul Haller. He holds a BA in Theology and has done vocational training for mentally challenged individuals. He worked in technology for many years in product management and business development. He started practice at San Francisco Zen Center in 2007 and has lived and worked at SFZC full-time since 2009.  He has served as Ino (Head of Meditation Hall) and Tenzo (Head Cook) at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center. Michael is currently the Program Director of the San Francisco Zen Center.
