  • In-person Dharma Talk: Alan Block

    On Wednesday evening, September 24th, Alan Block will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Alan Block is entrusted as a teacher of Zen Buddhism by Zoketsu Norman Fischer in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki of the San Francisco Zen Center.

    Forms Training and Priest Group Meeting with Misha Shungen Merrill

    On Saturday, September 27th, there will be a training session for Doan Ryo participants from 10:30 to 11:30am. The Priest Group of currently active Kannon Do priests will meet after the training session from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Both sessions, led by Misha Shungen Merrill, are by invitation only, and will be held in the zendo.

    On Wednesday evening, October 1st, please join us for a discussion of our abbot emeritus' latest book I Had a Good Teacher.  Umar Qu will lead a discussion of Chapter 3 titled The Honey Bee Is Not Concerned With Failure.
