On Wednesday evening, July 2nd, Kigen Anna Breckenridge will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Anna first attended Kannon Do as a high school student inspired by Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind. She continued her zazen practice while attending college in the Pacific Northwest.

On Saturday morning, July 19th Zoketsu Norman Fischer, founder and director of Everyday Zen Foundation, will give an in-person dharma talk followed by a discussion. Zoketsu Norman Fischer was ordained by Zentatsu Richard Baker in 1980 and received shiho (Dharma transmission) from Sojun Mel Weitsman in 1988.

Please join us on Saturday July 19th at 12:30 p.m. for a Priest Ordination (Tokudo) Ceremony for Tim Sandoe. The ceremony will be followed by a reception and vegetarian potluck.

On Wednesday evening, July 23rd, Jamie Howell will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Kogen Seido Jamie Howell was raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and Lubbock, Texas. He came to California in 1967 and began his Zen practice with Joshu Sasaki Roshi in 1979.
