  • Zen – Yoga Workshop Friday 4-5:30pm

    In Fukanzazengi, Dogen Zenji says that zazen is the Dharma gate of ease and joy, and that traps and snares can never reach it. Today, particularly in our long sittings and retreats, we receive instructions to be silent and still.

    Group Practice Discussion “Actualizing Zen Vows in the World”

    Following the Precepts series, Victoria Austin will lead a practice discussion with the theme "Actualizing Zen Vows in the World". Actualizing Zen Vows in the World   The Bodhisattva Precepts can be studied at the level of ultimate truth, relative truth, and skill in action.

  • In-Person Dharma Talk: Chris Chapman

    On Wednesday evening, February 4th, Chris Chapman will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Chris Chapman started practicing Zen in 2001 in hopes to make the world better following the birth of his daughter soon after the events of 9-11.

    On Wednesday evening , February 11th Tim Sandoe will give an in-person Way Seeking Mind talk at the Kannon Do Meditation Center.  Tim's talk will be followed by time for questions and discussion.

    In-person Dharma Talk: Tova Green

    On Wednesday evening, February 25th, Tova Green will give an in-person Dharma talk followed by a discussion. Tova Green, she/her, trained as a resident of the San Francisco Zen Center for 25 years. She recently moved to Enso Village, a Zen-inspired Senior Living Community in Healdsburg.
