If you plan on attending Sesshin on August 12th please join Ken Simpson for Oryoki training on Friday, August 11th at 6 PM. Oryoki is the traditional way that Japanese monks eat their food in monasteries. At Sesshin 2 meals (breakfast and lunch) will be eaten Oryoki style. Ken’s teaching style is fun and informative. Newcomers are particularly welcome, but experienced people are also invited for a refresher.
