On Wednesday evening, November 4th, Giuseppe will give a Dharma talk followed by an online discussion. The title of the talk is “Wooden Buddha”.  It relates to Giuseppe’s encounter with Joshu’s words: “A gold Buddha does not pass through a furnace; a wooden Buddha does not pass through fire; a mud Buddha does not pass through water” (Blue Cliff Record, Case 96).

Giuseppe Prisco started Zen practice at Kannon Do in 2008, was ordained in 2011, and after many years in the U.S., relocated with his family to Italy in 2012.  In 2015,  he founded a surgical robotics startup near his home in a village outside Pisa.
