Please join us for the continuation of our film series.   On Saturday, September 12th at 10:30 am, we will be showing Lost in Translation, followed by a discussion of how the film touches on themes in Zen teachings.

In this critically acclaimed film, Bill Murray and Scarlett  Johansson play two Americans who meet by chance in Tokyo.  In the unfamiliar and confusing environment, complete with the modern world’s overwhelming neon lights, sky high buildings, crowds of people, and commercialism, they create a  touching relationship – both humorous and sad –  growing out of disillusion with their respective lives and lost direction.
