I just wanted to let you know of an upcoming dharma talk.  This will be on Wednesday, April 15th and will be given by me.  Les asked me to give this talk and when I asked “on what” he foolishly said “any subject”.  So I am giving a talk on Zen and humor.  To whet your appetite here is a little preview.  There will be included one of the lesser known koans from the Green Cliff Record.  This koan starts off, intriguingly, with the line: Buddha, Bodhidharma and Dogen walked into a bar …  I will not give any more away at this time.

I hope to see you there.  As encouragement I mention here that my last dharma talk was a bit of a side-splitter.  Not to toot my own horn but it did elicit comments such as “You have a different style to Les” and “I laughed until I obtained enlightenment and then I laughed even harder”
