Please note:  All in person events at Kannon Do will be closed for a few weeks starting March 10th, 2020, in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus. We plan to host online meditation sessions and dharma talks soon via zoom until our usual programs resume.

On Wednesday, March 11, our guest speaker will be Cornelia Shonkwiler.

Cornelia is the Teacher at Middle Way Zen. She began study and practice at Kannon Do with Les Kaye roshi in 1991. She also practiced at San Francisco Zen Center and Tassajara Zen Mountain Center. Cornelia was ordained a monk in 2000, and received dharma transmission from Les in 2008. Cornelia was born in Germany, and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years. She has two grown daughters.
