On Saturday December 3rd at 10:30 AM we will work on some garden projects at Kannon Do. Our primary job will be clearing the space in front of the Kannon Do sign near the street so that we can create a simple zen style rock garden in that spot. This will be an ongoing project, and more work days will be coming up to complete it.

Another task is planting of two more climbing roses by the chain link fence in back (roses have been purchased and are ready to be planted). Also, the area near the zendo entrance needs to be weeded so that more Vinca Minor (also on hand) can be planted there. And as always, the rain has encouraged numerous weeds to pop up, so we’ll begin the task of clearing  them from planted areas.
