Carrying on the centuries-old tradition of Chinese and Japanese Zen monasteries and temples, Kannon Do will hold its annual Temple Cleaning Day on Sunday  March 9th from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.  Tasks will include items not normally included in our weekly work periods for this day such as deep cleaning the zendo and Sangha house, and weeding, raking and clean-up around premises and parking lot. Come for whatever amount of time you can offer during this period. Working together in care for our temple offers a chance to practice samu, an essential aspect of Zen practice. Cheese Pizza and Coffee will be provided.
