Please join us for a discussion of Chapter 7 of Suzuki Roshi's book "Branching Streams Flow in the Darkness: Zen Talks on the Sandokai" after zazen on Wednesday, August 21st, at 8 p.m. led by Dan Geiger. Instead of a Lecture we are discussing one chapter of the book each 3rd Wednesday of the month.
Please join us at 10:30 AM for an Introduction to Zen on Saturday, August 24th. This orientation is intended primarily for individuals new to Zen practice, as well as experienced practitioners who have questions about their contemplative practice. This informal get together takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month, lasting about 90 minutes.
Please join us on Saturday, August 24th from 1 p.m. to 2: 30 p.m. for a Meditation in Life discussion led by Columbine Robinson in our Kannon Do Garden. The Meditation in Life Discussion Series are informal conversations that view our lives in the context of experience with Zen practice.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 4th at 8 p.m. for a dharma talk by Kodo Conlin, Online Programs Manager at San Francisco Zen Center. Kodo took up meditation in 2006.

Please join Megan and Lee for a garden work day at Kannon Do on Saturday, September 28th from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Tasks such as pruning, raking and weeding will be taken care of in the front and back areas. Please come and help us maintain the garden and landscape.
