This orientation is intended primarily for individuals new to Zen practice, as well as experienced practitioners who have questions about their contemplative practice. This informal get together takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month, lasting about 90 minutes.

If you plan on attending Sesshin on October 12th please join Victor Legge for Oryoki training on Friday, October 11th at 6 p.m. Oryoki is the traditional way that Japanese monks eat their food in monasteries.
Kannon Do will host a one-day meditation retreat, or Sesshin on Saturday, October August 12th. This day of mindfulness offers a rare opportunity to turn our awareness to the simple activities that sustain our lives, and that we normally take for granted: breathing, walking, eating, being attentive to the workings of our mind.
