Please join us at 10:30 AM for an Introduction to Zen on Saturday,  November 23rd.  This orientation is intended for individuals  new to Zen practice,  as well as experienced practitioners who have  questions about their contemplative practice.  This informal get together takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month,  lasting  about 90 minutes.

If you plan on attending Sesshin on December 14th please join us for Oryoki training on Saturday , December 7th at 10:30 a.m.  Oryoki is the traditional way that Japanese monks eat their food in monasteries.

Kannon Do will host a one-day meditation retreat, or Sesshin on Saturday, December 14th. This day of mindfulness offers a rare opportunity to turn our awareness to the simple activities that sustain our lives, and that we normally take for granted: breathing, walking, eating, being attentive to the workings of our mind.
