Kannon Do will host a one-day meditation retreat, or Sesshin on Saturday, February 8th. This day of mindfulness offers a rare opportunity to turn our awareness to the simple activities that sustain our lives, and that we normally take for granted: breathing, walking, eating, being attentive to the workings of our mind.

Please join us at 10:30 AM for an Introduction to Zen on Saturday, February 22nd. This orientation is intended for individuals new to Zen practice, as well as experienced practitioners who have questions about their contemplative practice. This informal get together takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month, lasting about 90 minutes.
Please join us for a garden work day at Kannon Do on Saturday, February 22nd from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Tasks such as pruning, raking and weeding will be taken care of in the front and back areas. Please come and help us maintain the garden and landscape. Tea and cookies will be served.
