“This Is Water” Discussion

On September 23, the Wednesday evening talk will be an audio presentation of “This is Water,” the commencement address given by the author David Foster Wallace at Kenyon College in May, 2005.
Considered “brilliant,” and “the greatest commencement speech of all time,” the speech has a distinctly Zen quality. It addresses many of the “Zen in daily life” themes that we explore at Kannon Do.
A discussion of the the speech will follow the audio presentation.
