SUMMARY:One-Day Meditation Retreat led by Renshin Bunce
DESCRIPTION:Kannon Do will host a one-day sitting on Saturday\, August 9th\, from 8am to 5pm. This sitting will be led by Renshin Bunce\, a dharma transmitted teacher associated with the Everyday Zen Foundation. The sitting will take place in our zendo\, with lunch and tea being served. The suggested contribution for the day is $50 per person (less if you are financially constrained)\, which will pay for food and teacher dana. This one-day sitting is appropriate for both beginners and more experienced practitioners. If you are interested in attending\, please register here. She was priest ordained in the lineage of Shunryu Suzuki Roshi in 2003 by the late Zenkei Blanche Hartman. After seven years’ residence at San Francisco Zen Center\, Renshin worked for 12 years as a hospice chaplain. An author of several books\, Renshin is now retired\, continues to teach\, and lives in Eureka CA.
